Dear COMCOL members,

I would like to thank you all for the trust given to me by electing me as Chair for our amazing committee. Together with Alexandra, Leen, Gloriana, Riitta, and Ying-Ying, I look forward to developing COMCOL further. To be a hub for our members to exchange knowledge, inspiration, and friendship.

Kyoto was an amazing experience, with lots of great presentations, in-depth conversations, and explorations. For those who joined us, thank you for your participation and good energy.

For those who were unable to take part, we will share reports on the discussions in our next newsletter as well as share some thoughts on Facebook.

We also still have the outstanding issue of the Museum Definition. I am sure you all followed the conversations and know that the voting was postponed. As soon as we know more about how to proceed we make sure to inform you, so you stay up to date and share your thoughts on this important matter with us.

As for next year, we hope you will be able to join us out of our next annual conference in Kazan, the Republic of Tatarstan in the summer. Soon we will start sharing the dates and call for papers for this.
