Applications for travel grants to attend the 2017 COMCOL conference is open now. COMCOL members, 35 years old or younger on 31 December 2016, may apply. Please see the file for the full grant criteria here.

The COMCOL conference will take place from 5 – 10 December 2017 at the Västerbottens Museum, Umeå, Sweden. The theme will deal with aspects of the 2017 International Museum Day theme: Museums and contested histories: Saying the unspeakable in museums.

• letter of 500 words statement of the applicant’s motivation for attending the annual meeting and the benefits which he/she expects to derive from it
• the applicant’s curriculum vitae indicating training, work experience, publications as well as current work responsibilities within his/her institution (maximum one page)
• a copy of a valid travel document (passport, identity card)
